Verification and Feature Access (Before/After KYC)

You can create and use an Anzo wallet without completing identity verification. Some regulated features require verification (KYC) and will request it when you attempt to use them.

Before KYC

Before completing identity verification, you can:

  • create your wallet

  • sign in and secure the app

  • send and receive money with other Anzo users

  • send and receive digital assets on supported networks

  • view your balance and Total Spending Power (TSP)

  • explore available features

At this stage:

  • core wallet functionality is available

  • peer-to-peer transfers are enabled

  • identity verification is not required

If a specific action requires verification, the app will inform you before you proceed.

When KYC is required

Verification is required for features that involve regulated financial services.

This includes:

  • adding funds to your account through supported payment methods

  • issuing a virtual card

Different features may require different levels of verification, depending on applicable regulatory requirements.

Verification is triggered when you initiate one of these actions.

After KYC

Once verification is completed (where required):

  • you can add funds to your account using supported payment methods

  • you can issue a virtual Anzo card

  • card payments become available

How KYC works in Anzo

  • verification is not required to create or use a wallet

  • it applies only to specific regulated features

  • the app indicates when verification is required

Verification expands available functionality. Basic wallet functionality remains available without verification.
